Perfect vegan pancake recipe… super easy

If you think being vegan means missing our on pancake day we are happy to tell you that you are very wrong! You just need to look at substituting the non vegan ingredients like milk and eggs.

Fortunately milk alternatives are never ending… oat, hemp, almond, soya or cashew to name a few. Egg on the other hand, we’re going to let you in on a little secret. Get rid of it! It’s unneeded and won’t be missed in these pancakes. In reality simple vegan pancakes have less ingredients.

3 Ingredients

110g plain flour
340ml of soy milk (any plant based milk will work) maybe more to loosen
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

3-Step Method


Pour all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until the mixture is a smooth silky consistency. Make sure to get out as much of the bumps as you can.

Grab your frying pan with a teaspoon of vegan butter and melt into the pan (we use Tesco Stockwell soft spread because its cheap and cheerful).

On a medium to high heat, pour in a ladle of mix and cook for about 1 minute 30 seconds on each side. For best results, we recommend just using your eyes rather than a timer and cook until golden brown.

Remember to top off your pancakes with agave nectar for extra yumminess 🤤
